Someone very dear to me once told me to "Smile, it will make you happy." I follow that advice as often as I think about being "down." It's "hard," and it feels uncomfortable, but when I "do" it, I begin to feel better. It doesn't matter whether I believe smiling can help or not. The very act of doing it makes it happen.-Eric

You aren't a Rip Van Winkle who is asleep leaning against the tree of life. Your words have power. 83% of the time you are talking silently to yourself. Why not listen in to what you are saying to yourself and thus encourage your mind to be more productive, positively charged and effective? After all, you can't wait until your life is perfect to experience happiness and contentment...or your waiting will grow into the long gray beard of regret, impatience and irritation.
